Dataset of the Inner Ring Road in Brunswick

This OpenDRIVE dataset contains a highly detailed model of the inner-city ring road of Brunswick, primarily to be used in driving simulation applications. The raw data has been surveyed in 2012 with the transformation/annotation into OpenDRIVE having been finalised 2015-03-25. The data has been acquired in the context of the project Application Platform for Intelligent Mobility (AIM) and funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).

Automated Lane Keeping System (ALKS) Test Scenario Interpretation

Example Transformation of ECE/TRANS/WP.29/2020/81 "ALKS Directive" in an OpenSCENARIO/OpenDRIVE form (bundle of XML files). The scenarios and maps were validated against the OpenSCENARIO 1.0 and OpenDRIVE 1.6 XML schemas. Furthermore the OpenSceanrio API test library has been integrated in the CI in order to prove standard compliance. As an additional quality measure the scenarios were integrated and simulated successfully in Eclipse openPASS and in the open source simulator esmini. The focus of the scenarios is on securing the planning aspects of an ALKS. By extending the scenarios with references to e.g. 3D models or environmental conditions (light, rain), aspects of sensor and actuator technology could also be simulated and validated. The corresponding OpenSCENARIO Bundle (6 subject areas analogous to Annex 5, Chapter 4.1-4.6) has been licensed by CC-BY-SA 4.0 and is hereby made publicly available.
